Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance the general public’s understanding of halal food. Halal food is prepared in a way that ensures animals are spared of unnecessary suffering before slaughter.
The humane treatment of the animals prior to slaughter significantly reduces the chance that harmful bacteria and toxins will be present in the meat when compared to traditional methods of slaughter. At Caravan Kabob House, customer satisfaction is our top priority. Our entire staff is dedicated to ensure our guests have a positive dining experience. We work tirelessly to provide exceptional service. At Caravan, you can dine-in, take-out or have us cater! We offer high-quality food in a laid-back atmosphere.
Our Story
Omar Momand is the entrepreneur behind Caravan Kabob House. Seeking new opportunities, he moved to Canada in 2001 and started working as a freelance photographer.
In 2006, Omar discovered his love for the culinary arts through working at his family- owned restaurant Bamiyan Kabob, a prominent Afghan restaurant in the GTA. In 2012, he established Watan Kabob in Mississauga. In 2014, he collaborated with Harirud Corporation to establish Caravan Kabob House in the heart of Brampton. Caravan Kabob House is one of the best places for 100% halal certified Afghan cuisine in all of Ontario.
